I have been so busy lately that not much sewing has really taken place. Certainly, there have been few finishes though I should have one later today.
This is one of the new projects that has come about, mostly because I wanted to try the method a friend had shown to a few of us at my quilt group. I had this charm pack and pulled the purple from my stash. These blocks are now serving as leaders and enders for other things I am working on.

A picture I thought you would get a laugh from…This is my wagon on the way back home from my quilt group. I am in charge of scheduling programs for the group as well as our community service quilts. This is about how much I have to haul to every meeting which happen twice per month. This is one of the main reasons I am thinking that I may pass on the positions for next year. This is a lot.

This is a quilt that was donated to our group, and we will be finishing it and donating it to our community. I brought it home to quilt and I loved it so much that I started one of my own.

Here is my version so far. Another new project started while the ones I need to get finished aren’t seeing much progress.

This is what was on the quilter yesterday and it just needs a few stitches more in the hanging sleeve today. It is huge and meant to hang on a wall. However, the wall in question needs to be painted first. I was hoping to do that this weekend but then, once I paint the one wall, I will want to paint the rest of the room which has no end as it is part of our big open space downstairs and that is daunting.
So, do I paint the one wall and get the quilt hung up or do I wait until the entire project can be tackled which could be a long way away? It wouldn’t be quite so daunting if I didn’t need to include the 10-foot-tall ceiling as well.

I will leave you with some snuggles from my Mayzie. Hope you have a great weekend of quilting!
