I loaded this UFO on the machine a couple of days ago, only to realize that I did not have a white batting wide enough. So, it sits idly while I wait for some to arrive. Hopefully it will get some attention in the next week.
I still have multiple quilts that need binding so hopefully there will be some finishes soon.
And, while I have been sewing away on my American Patchwork and quilting SAL, I also pulled out an old UFO that will hopefully be this month’s finish- at least to quilt top stage…

It is based on the lovely quilt from Freda’s Hive and I started it years ago, before patterns were available. I am taking things apart and putting them back together and trying to add borders, and I am just not happy with it over all so I am not sure how much progress it will see this month, or ever.
So, no finishes today and there will be no progress made either since I am headed to the quilt show with a friend today. Last year, at this same show, I left without a single purchase. I am more in the mood this year but must remember all the UFOs I have crowding up my closets here.
Linking up with Quiltygirl.
Ohhh you do have a GOOD amount of fun things going on! Hope that batting gets here so VERY soon!!! That is a beautiful quilt!!

That old UFO is awesome – that will be fun to finish – look like a lot of work went into those blocks!
