I have finished the Graduation quilt finally! It is the first quilt, quilted on my new long arm that I don’t consider practice. It came out beautifully! The drape is so nice with the washable wool batting and an all over flame texture quilting. I was surprised that my machine would not sew through the embroidered label. I had to crawl under the machine and remove it. I think it may have had too much stabilizer that hadn’t washed out. I will try again in the future. I hope it WILL sew through machine embroidery as I do a lot of it.

Also got my keyboard cover finished. My daughter is teaching me to play piano. I may turn out to be her most challenging student…

Progress was made on my Christmas table runner. It is a design from Designs by Juju. I need to add the other Joy to the World block which is ready and then I’ll start the borders.
I was really happy with the progress I made yesterday. I even managed some yardwork as well. The next two weeks will be spent in the church preschool, helping out with the four-year-olds so I am not sure much else will get done. I have to get some machines in for service too so that will halt some progress.
Congratulations on finishing a lovely quilt on your longarm that is not practice! Now you are officially a “longarmer” 🙂
The keyboard cover made me smile – very creative!
