I got my borders added to my January UFO. Now I just have to go shop for a white backing. I already have a white batting on the way. Hope to get this completed by the end January. However, it is at the limits of my Quilting frame. It is 90.5 inches wide, and my frame will only take about a 95-inch-wide backing. So, I will have to see when I start to load it if I think I can really handle it or if it should go to someone who has a longer frame for quilting.

This is what is currently on the quilt frame, and I am using it to practice my free motion before I put a more treasured quilt on for free handing. This will be a donation, if it isn’t too ugly when I get it finished. Surely someone will like that green….

I made another teacup. Wish I had gotten the center cherries a little more centered but…I can live with it.

Here are my three teacups together. This is proving to be a very fun project! There are lots of little sewing steps and I can see how it would be very tedious if I was doing them all at once but I am only doing one or two at a time, so it isn’t bad.
The week is getting busy, so I won’t make as much progress on things as I had originally hoped. But the busy things are fun things so it all works out! Have a great week of sewing!
