Finally, the end of January is in sight! Those winter days can be sooooo long! And yet, I feel like I haven’t gotten anything accomplished so here is my review to show me otherwise!
This is the completed Part 1 of the Revelation Blanket by CrystalsandCrochet. The next two parts are printed and waiting for me. This has, for the most part, been a lot of fun! Some of the parts can seem a bit “fiddly” but they come out beautifully! Helen’s instructions are amazing!

I have also started the Madlandia CAL.
Again, great instructions and a lot of fun!
I love working with these bright colors, especially on these long winter days.

Here are three more Book Log Granny Squares. Pretty happy with how I am actually keeping up with these. I am making them before I have even finished the book in most cases. So much fun!

Still reading this one and the next one too.

When I started this, I said I wasn’t going to buy yarn especially to match covers, just work with my stash but I didn’t have any black so, I caved…yep, I am weak when it comes to crafting supplies- more is always better, right?

I started this guy and will definitely get back to him soon! He is a 3 part (I think) tutorial on YouTube that is presented in Spanish with English subtitles and no written pattern. La Casita de Mokala Crochet. She makes the cutest amigurumi! I am really happy with how I am doing but have to work right along with her videos to get it done. High focus required for sure!

I have barely started week 3 of the Canal Boat CAL and tomorrow will be the release of week 4, so I am officially behind but love this easy, flowing pattern that I can do when my focus muscles are tired. With all the crochet I have been doing, my elbows are complaining, for sure. And, I haven’t achieved much on the quilting front…

Here is a peek at the back for my Spider Web Quilt which is slowly being sewn into rows. I think she is going to be a beauty when I finally get her done but…have I told you lately how much I despise paper piecing? And yet, I always end up going there… I have also been working on some donation quilts and trying to organize getting some binding on some old projects. Hopefully I’ll have some of those finished soon.
Today, there are a few chores planned and then some sewing. Will have to fit in an exercise session too since I have been slacking for two days on that front. Hope everyone is having a great time wrapping up the first month of 2025 and looking forward to February. I am hoping it flys by since we are heading on a vacation in March- a visit to see my son, and darn it, he just happens to live in paradise!
Happy crafting!
