Now that the Holiday has passed, I can share the work that got gifted. This is my daughter’s sweet boy with the lap blanket I crocheted for her. It matches her new sofa cover better than I thought it would.

Here is the shawl I crocheted for her as well. That was it for the handmade gifts this year. It was just a very quiet Christmas so I didn’t get much created for gifting.

Here is how far I am with the Season’s Blessings quilt by Suzy’s Sitcom. The third block has released now so hope to get it put together soon. Then I will tackle the machine stitching on all of them before I put that section together.
I couldn’t resist starting the Boxing Day Crochet Along from Crochet Crowd for the Inspired by Grace Blanket. This is my progress after day one. My husband asked if I didn’t already have a blanket started, I could work on rather than starting a new one. HA! Yes, like 10 I could choose from, but this one had to be started as well!

I also have a few small quilting projects that have been started and need to see some progress soon…

I am thinking of creating my UFO list and making a plan for completion on some of those this year as well. Also diving in to being active in the NM Quilt Association again this year, as well as a smaller guild called Thimbleberries. I am feeling a lot better, health wise, than I have been all year, and I am really excited about 2025. It’s going to be a great year! This little guy was on the table at my husband’s Christmas Party this year and I fell in love. He may or may not have travelled home with me.

Santa brought a VR headset and a subscription to Supernatural, a health/exercise app for VR. I AM LOVING IT! The most fun I have ever had while exercising. Great music too! Yesterday I exercised on Easter Island, on the edge of a volcano in Ethiopia, and even on the MOON!
Happy Stitching to all!
Very nice! That blanket looks like it ready to participate in a post holidays nap on the sofa…along with the very cute kitty! The shawl is lovely as are the in progress projects! “My husband asked if I didn’t already have a blanket started, I could work on rather than starting a new one” – ha, yes he must not understand us crafters 😉
